Responsibilities:
As a Staff Accountant, you will be integral to our financial planning and operations.
Your key responsibilities will include:
1.
Maintaining and managing all aspects of the general ledger.
2.
Preparing and posting journal entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
3.
Managing the month-end close process, including account reconciliations, analysis of financial statements, and reporting on variances.
4.
Assisting with the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
5.
Collaborating with other team members to streamline accounting processes and procedures.
6.
Assisting with internal and external audits, providing necessary information and reports.
7.
Staying updated on industry trends and developments to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
8.
Providing support to the financial department by managing daily accounting tasks.
Qualifications:
1.
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or a related role.
3.
Strong knowledge of GAAP, general ledger functions, and the month-end/year-end close process.
4.
Proficiency in MS Office, particularly MS Excel, and familiarity with accounting software.
5.
Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
6.
Strong analytical abilities and aptitude for problem-solving.
7.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
8.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
9.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
