Co-Occurring Case Manager

Purpose of this Position:
Co-Occurring Case Managers provide assistance to persons (ADULTS) with serious and persistent Mental Illness and a Substance Use Disorder.
The case manager helps individuals gain access to needed resources such as medical, social, educational, natural supports, community resources and specialized mental health treatment, substance use disorder treatment, rehabilitation and support services.
This service is expected to achieve specific outcomes of independent living, vocational/educational participation, adequate social supports and reduced hospitalizations.
Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to:
Knowledge of mental health, substance use disorders and social service field Familiarity with and ability to access community resources Ability to make accurate assessments of clients' needs and to be creative in seeking appropriate services Ability to organize time efficiently to meet client needs in a flexible, non-traditional time frame Children's Service Center/Robinson Counseling Center for adults creates a positive working culture of Care and Commitment for employees which extends to the children & families we serve.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology or related social science fieldTwo (2) years' experience (or equivalent combination of experience and training) in a public or private human services organization Must pass Safe Crisis Management Training (physical and theory), upon hire and then annually as a condition of employment.
Other requirements include:
Driver's License FBI Act 73 Criminal History Act 33 Clearances Recommended Skills Assessments Mental Health People Services Psychology Social Sciences Social Work Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
